Sierra Cables PLC is a company of the LOLC Group – a conglomerate operating in diverse sectors in Sri Lanka. We have established a stronghold in Sri Lanka and the overseas marketplace as a complete and comprehensive wire and cable supplier for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors during the past decades.

We have achieved success in the global wire and cable sector by establishing advanced manufacturing facilities in several overseas locations. Sierra Cables PLC has also significantly expanded its export reach to neighbouring Asian nations, Eastern Europe, Australia, North America, and various African regions. Company History

Sierra Cables PLC was established in 2000. Over the past few decades, we have grown to be a premier holistic company in aspects of manufacturing, marketing and distributing copper and aluminium power cables locally and internationally.

Research & Development Facilities in the Sierra Cables PLC

Our goal of research and development (R&D) is to stay at the forefront of the industry. Our R&D team constantly engages in researching new local and international standards to ensure that our cables meet the latest industry requirements.

We conduct tests on our cables to validate the performance and compliance with the identified standards. The tests involve rigorous procedures and evaluation criteria to ensure cables meet the highest level of quality and reliability. By conducting test runs and simulations, we can refine our manufacturing processes and optimise the performance of our cables.

Our R&D collaborates with customers to understand their unique needs and tailor customised solutions. By leveraging our technical expertise and flexible production capabilities, we deliver customised cables that meet customer satisfaction.

We adopt advanced technologies and best practices to make our plant more efficient, resulting in improved productivity, and cost-effectiveness, and maintain sustainability to achieve overall operational excellence.
